We understand that plumbing and heating emergencies happen, often at inconvenient times. That's why we offer a call out service for emergencies out of normal office hours. PLEASE NOTE: When you call our engineer he may already be on another job, so please leave a voicemail message and he will call you back, usually within an hour. Our emergency service is only available to our existing customers.
Upfront About Costs
We'll always clarify the call out fee and payment options before we visit your home and the call out engineer will also quote any additional costs in advance before carrying out the work.
How do we charge?
Our charges vary and are indicated below, although please bear in mind that whilst our engineers are on call, they are not at work and are at home with their families, so please only call in an emergency (No heating or an uncontainable water leak).
We charge by the hour and for a minimum of one hour, and anything thereafter, we charge in 15 minute increments.
If you are a tenant please ask your landlord/agent to call us out direct (unless you are a Thacker & Revitt tenant).
Please note once you have confirmed the call out with us over the phone, our charge will apply immediately so please make sure you are certain you need to instruct us, as any cancellation after this point will still incur the initial call out of 1 hour.
When we are asked to attend Out of Hours and providing we attend your property, the hourly rate will commence once the engineer starts travelling to your property. We use electronic software which utilises geo-location tracking, where travel, start and finish times are recorded to the minute.
PLEASE NOTE:
Our engineer will not be able to help you with anything other than an emergency call out, nor will he be able to offer advice over the phone. Please only call if you have an emergency and need to call us out.
